Ballater Victoria Week 3-11 August 2013.
Initiated in 1987 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee and to raise funds for the refurbishment of the Victoria and Albert Halls, Ballater's Victoria Week brings together numerous sections of the community to lay on a host of fun activities for all ages.
On Sunday 4th August a Parade of Classic and Interesting Vehicles will follow the Ballater & District Pipe Band into the village to help produce what is invariably one of the highlights of Ballater’s Victoria Week. The Parade will circle the village green, allowing everyone the opportunity to view the many different types of vehicles, including classic cars and old agricultural/commercial types and, for the first year, trikes, before they set off on short road runs around Ballater. The cars can either go on the Crathie run, a loop returning on the South Deeside Road, The tractors go to Dalmochie Woods, where there is a site of a logging camp used by the Newfoundland lumberjacks who felled the forest in the 1940s.

R2 allocated a great pitch in Monaltrie Park - home to a wide range of vehicles on what was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
