R2 Gain an Hour weekend 2015
R2's eleventh Gain an Hour weekend took place over the weekend of 23rd-26th October. This year had special significance as it is the 30th anniversary of Region 2 and we welcomed Porsche Club GB Director Brendan Daly as our special guest. The venue was Fort William on the west coast of Scotland.
Some members even arrived early on the Thursday night in order to enjoy the drive planned for Friday.
We missed the planned drive on Friday (route shown below, left) as we were travelling over from Aberdeen, taking the scenic route via Corgarff, The Lecht, Grantown on Spey and Aviemore, collecting some photos along the way (route below centre). The Saturday drive took us further west on great roads through remarkable scenery (route below right).

Saturday morning saw us Joining Rob for an early start and a rather wet drive down the west side of Loch Linnhe. However the photographic rewards of our trek along miles of single track are shown below in slideshow format ...
After the single track drive we joined up with a few more members as they came off the Corran Ferry, we all then made our way to Loch Sunart and then Glenuig for a lunch stop.

Finally, Saturday night and lots of happy members - the theme this year was 'yellow' ( in case you hadn't guessed) ...
